About Us

Little Ann Day Nursery's baby unit, toddlers and pre-school is a private day care facility situated in Thornton Heath, located within the London Borough of Croydon. Little Ann opened in 2005 with facilities to cater for 12 children age 0 months to 5 years.

We aim to provide quality day care in a loving, caring, warm environment where children can feel safe, happy and full of confidence. We are proud to have received a ‘Good’ outcome by OFSTED from our inspection in 2016.

Little Ann Day Nursery is committed to the implementation of a policy of equal opportunity for everyone who wishes to or is likely to use our service and facilities. This commitment comes from our recognition that we are a part of a multi-racial, multi-faith, multi-cultural and multi-lingual community where the full appreciation of family, neighbours and colleagues will value differences and provide opportunities for people to come together and share their talents and skills in a mutually beneficial way.

We look forward to welcoming you personally. Click below to Book a Place

The aim of using the Early Years Foundation Stage is to help all children achieve the five ‘Every Child Matters’ outcomes of staying safe, being healthy, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution and achieving economic well-being.

A Principal Approach

The Early Years Foundation Stage states that "All children, irrespective of ethnicity, culture or religion, home language, family background, learning difficulties or disabilities, gender or ability should have the opportunity to experience a challenging and enjoyable programme of learning and development”.

We plan activities to meet the seven areas of learning detailed by the EYFS covered by the early learning goals and education programmes. We aim to provide activities appropriate to each child’s individual development and to meet needs of each child through careful assessment and planning.
